Where I Should Be

Released on A & M Records 1979

"This was the first album recorded after my car accident - of course, my right arm had been broken, and I was so worried I might not be able to play. Fortunately, apart from an aching arm, I was in good shape. 'Monkey' is Jamie Oldaker's nick name - he was the drummer on that track and I didn't have the lyrics at the time we recorded it. He really liked the track so I named it after Jamie for the moment and it stuck!"

Side One:
  • I Can't Stand It No More
  • Got My Feet Back On The Ground
  • Where I Should Be ( Monkey's Song )
  • Everything I Need
  • May I Baby
Side Two:
  • You Don't Know Like I Know
  • She Don't Reply
  • We've Just Begun
  • Take Me By The Hand
  • It's A Sad Affair

Did you know that when Peter and Steve Marriott started playing together in the late 60's, Peter sported a beard? A very scratchy photo of Peter playing in the Humble Pie days
